Penguin Fact and Opinion

Welcome to all of my new followers!  I am so excited to have 21 people following my blog!  Thank you for all of your kind words - I really appreciate them.
I don't know about all of you, but I usually have ideas for things I want to make when I am supposed to be doing something else - like cleaning the house!  I have a bunch of ideas jotted in a notebook, but when I thought about making these fact and opinion penguins tonight I wanted to do them right away!  Hope you can use them!

I am trying a new way of posting this one - thank you for all of your help Ladybug Teacher Files!

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for being my very first follower. I love your blog! I would love to make some things to share but I just don't know where to start.

Thanks Penny! I love the organizational tips on your blog - and I love frogs too! As far as making things, I usually just use Microsoft Word and then save them as a PDF when I am finished. I know some people prefer to use PowerPoint or other programs.

Can you tell me how you figured out how to post a picture of your documents?!! I love your ideas! :)

First Grade Fairytale - Ladybug Teacher Files helped me out a TON with this! If you click on the link to her site above, it will tell you how to get the link. The part I really had trouble with was figuring out how to get a picture of my document and how to get it to link to the document. I finally figured out that you can get the picture of your document if you open the document in Google Docs, right click on the document itself, choose "Save Image As" and save it to your desktop (or anywhere really, I choose to save it on my desktop so I can find it easily and then delete it after uploading it). Then you upload the picture and put it in your post. After you have your picture, click on it to highlight it and click the link button. As Ladybug Teacher Files said, you usually have to do this twice to get the link box to come up. Once it does, just paste your link and you are ready to post! Does that make sense? There may be another (easier?) way to do all that, but that is the way that I do it. Let me know if you have any problems!

I love this but when I clicked on it to download I was unable to see some of it due to a font that I did not have I guess. Do you know of a way to remedy this???

New follower as of today! Love your stuff!!!

Miss Conrad - Hmmm... not sure why you cannot see it. It is uploaded as a pdf, so it should work. I would be more than happy to email it to you - just post your email here or send me an email at dana_m_baker@yahoo.com.
Thanks for following my blog!

Love the Penguin fact/opinion. I googled "Penguin fact and opinion" and yours was the first one to come up. I didn't have to look any further because it is exactly what I'm looking for
